No, you don’t need an AMBOSS account to use the Chrome extension. You’ll still get pop-up definitions for medical terms on any website. However, to access the full AMBOSS articles and dive deeper into the related content, you’ll need an active account and membership. If you’d like to create an account, you can do so here. It only takes a minute.
Becoming an AMBOSS member gives you unlimited access to our vast medical library, which covers everything you need to know in medical school and beyond. It’s like having a comprehensive medical wiki at your fingertips, allowing you to quickly look up terms, study core concepts, and find concise definitions. We also offer a Qbank that’s fully integrated with the library, enabling you to seamlessly review or dive deeper into topics as needed. Plus, AMBOSS offers powerful integrations for Anki and ChatGPT.
